Will I get some kind of tax credit if I give extra energy to the grid?

I am doing a sustainability project at my school and I am trying to make it function off of solar panels. Since we would produce too much energy for us to use in the summer we would be able to feed that energy back into the grid. Does anyone know if we would get some kind of reward or tax cut for doing that? My school is in New, Hampshire.

you would have to contact the utility company to see if they will buy back excess energy you produce – I think they would only pay you the wholesale rate per kwh, not the same retail rate you pay for electricity you normally buy from them
